I have quite intense pain in the areas that you highlighted but I do not think that I could call the sensations a spasm! Just pain!!
I started taking daily 500 mg of magnesium oxide last night to see if that will help and will keep all informed of the results!

My leg pain is in the back of the leg and extends from the middle of the right buttock just below the belt line then travels out to the side and then down to about mid thigh but always in the back of the leg.
