FYI, along with JFK and Glen Gould, here's one other person to add to the dubious list of celebrities with chronic prostatitis: the late author William Styron (Sophie's Choice, Confessions of Nat Turner, etc.). The May 11, 2008 NY Times Book Review section has a review of a newly published collection of essays by Styron. The article states that the collection includes an essay by Styron on his battle with chronic prostatitis. He's also famous for having a difficult long-term battle with chronic depression (recounted in his excellent memoir Darkness Visible).
