First thing the nurse has me do is pee in a cup, then asks how I'm doing. I tell her my sad story, I have the same relentless pain for 2 years, I can't work, I lost my house, and I want to kill myself. lol. She says he'll (the uro) be right in.
*magazine time*
Dr. Uro comes in and gives me the good news. "Your urine is clear and the infection has gone. You had a lot of PUS cells your first visit and now there are none. The antibiotics have done the trick." Hmmmm, I guess he meant the antibiotics I never took? Whatever. I asked him so why am I still in so much pain? He checks me for hernia and tugs on my testicles a few times (Aaaaaaaaaaargh!!!). Says everything looks fine, I should not be in pain. But I am in pain and now I'm getting pissed off. I complain to him that I have to wear a jock everyday just to get about 25% relief from the testicle pain, but its hot and uncomfortable. He just says "Good, wear the jock then." He tells me do the hot sitz bath. I've done that and it excaberates the pain. He says he doesn't know why it should not do that. Then I asked him what he thought of the possibility that I might have CPPS. He says no I don't have any of the symptoms. WTF? I'm sorry but when I read the symptoms you guys talk about, I've experience every single one but the burning. By now I'm starting to get tears of frustration. Finally to end the visit he tells me to be careful lifting and let him know how things turn out. He gives me a script for Flomax and another for Ultrcet and we go our seperate ways.
Familiar? Your Thoughts or encouragment are appreciated.
