Uretrodinia: Cardura + Clonazepam

Post by Daniel »

Prohibido: café, manzanas, ciruelas, picantes, salsas, alcohol, gaseosas.
Evitar el estreñimiento
Tabaco? no sé, no fumo. Leí que no es bueno.

MEDICACION

I am 39 years old. After 2 1/2 years of suffering, I can talk about my experiences of controlling of the disease.

The medical diagnoses that they gave me were: prostatitis, prostatodinia, uretrodinia, and did not rule out psychological attention suggested. negative urine cultures, many antibiotics (Cipro/levquin/gatifloxacina/amoxi + ac ??Clavulámico/Bactrim/cefalosporinas/minociclina Azitromicina/), ?? and everything that you already know if you have read this site.

Today I basically know what I have and have had. Thanks to the negligence and the imperfections of all the urologists that I consulted, I had tobecome my own "specialist" to be able to return to my normal life.

It started with ?uretrodinia (painful urination)?: inability to relax the urethra at the onset of urination, which led to an increase of the pressure - irritation of ?bladder? and prostate. As the hyper-pressure continued, it resulted in terrible symptoms: that of prostatitis, but the pain in the low part of the testicles = ruined sexual life.

MY HISTORY OF SUCCESS the treatment that I followed for the past 7 months was:

CHANGE DIET habits -- not to force urination -- To drink a minimum of3 liters of water per day -- to (?diluír urination?) -- and to diminish the possibility of irritation.

I avoided: coffee, apples, plums, spices/spicy foods, sauces, alcohol, soda waters.

To avoid the constipation:

Tobacco? I do not know, I do not smoke. I read that it is not good.

MEDICATION CARDURA: Alpha-1 -blocker and anti-androgen 5-alpha reductase bloker ?(Proscar)?

Relaxation of the urethral smooth muscles and ???[internal sphincter]???. (the doses are progressive).

Clonazepam: relaxation of the skeletal muscles, ???[for the sphincter]???and pelvic floor.

??????????PAIN Citrato or Potassium citrate dilated in water ????

Atarax, antihistamine, ???(not only an anticholonergic)???, but combined with Clonazepam, causes drowsiness.

Hot Baths: 2 times per day of 15 minutes c/u. ???For 7 months I have been taking medication????.

I know that it is a chronic disease, so far without cures, and I believe that there is a psychosomatic component.

I hope that somebody learns from my experience and it helps him to regain a good quality of life. Before taking any medication, always consults with his doctor. 23/2/2004

The real thing is that the start was an uretrodinia: lack of relaxation of the urethra at the moment of the micción, what carried to an increase of the pressure - irritation of the urethra prostática.
As the hiperpresión was maintained, gave for terrible result symptoms: the habitual of prostatitis but pain in the lower part of the testículos = sexual life ruined.

It prohibited: coffee, apples, ciruelas, spicy, sauces, alcohol, carbonated waters.
To avoid the constipation

MEDICACION
CARDURA: bloqueante alfa 1 adrenérgico = Relajante of the smooth musculature uretral and lisoesfinter. (The dose are progressive).
CLONAZEPAM: Relajante of the skeletal muscle, rabdoesfínter and flat pélvico.

TOOLS BY IF THE PAIN is INITIATED
Citrato of sodium or citratio of potasio diluído in water (alcalinizante of urine)
ATARAXONE, antihistamínico, desinflama the urethra, but power the together effect of drowsiness al clonazepam.
Baths of immersion in hot water: 2 times for day of 15 minutes c/or.

7 months ago that I am well although slave of the medicación. I know that is a chronic illness, for now without priest, and I sense that with some component psicosomático.
I expect that to someone serve my experience and he help him to recover a good quality of life.
