Hi all,
I'm back here again after I thought I had rid this terrible disease.
To give you some background, in 2019 I began suffering from urinary urgency following an assault. This was investigated by a urologist who suggested that while he did not believe there was a problem, he was happy to perform a cystoscopy on my person, so as to rule out any structural abnormalities (such as a stricture) that could be causing my symptoms. This was performed in July 2020, and shortly thereafter my symptoms, which were at this point minor, intensified considerably.
For the next year I suffered with pain around my left side, as well as other issues (E.D.) which didn't want to subside. Eventually, in the summer of 2021 I decided to take some action and I began taking a variety of herbal supplements. Remarkably, the pain seemed to subside to the point that I began to get my old life back, and by the start of this year I considered myself 95 per cent better. Pelvic pain was no longer on my agenda, and I was focused on other things in my life.
Alas, it was not to be however, and on Friday the pain and other familiar symptoms returned after I had moved in a unusual way. I suspect that I had irritated a nerve, as the pain was initially sharp and stabbing in nature, before again subsiding into that familiar dull ache. I'm now back to square one, but I'm hopeful I can recover from this once again.
Ironically, I initially did not practice any stretching or P.T. at all as it didn't seem to help my condition (just make it worse). It was only after I began taking the herbal remedies that I seemed to improve.
Any advice would be most appreciated.
Many thanks
One step forward, two steps back

Magnesium Glycinate for muscles
Omega 3 to combat inflammation
Lions Mane to help nerve pain
And a tincture containing St John's Wort, Rosemary, Withania to help restore nerve damage and reduce muscles surrounding nerves.
