Hi Mark, I am sure you get messages like this constantly so I will be brief.
23 year old white male with a sedentary office job, and a history of anxiety, OCD and paranoia, in addition to currently be in a very stressful time due to my fiancé being seriously ill with lupus.
About 3 weeks ago I felt like I needed to pee, and no matter how much I peed I still felt like I had to go.
Then my balls started to hurt
Then my hips started to hurt
Then my pelvis started to hurt
Went to the urologist got tested for everything under the sun all came back negative so she basically wished me good luck and sent me home
Your forum has given me immense hope that I will recover. I am only 3 weeks into this and I feel like I am getting a head start in combating it thanks to you. I called Dr Wise and had a very good discussion with him and he agreed that my mental issues accompanied by my sedentary lifestyle are the roots of this issue for me. He also went “kid you’re telling me this has only been going on for 3 weeks? It might just go away on its own if you just ignore it and live life” and funnily enough after we had that chat my symptoms subsided by 10%.
I was hesitant to try internal massage but I ordered an intimate rose wand and it’s en route to me now. I have seen unanimous support for this technique in quelling these symptoms. In addition I have been going for daily light jogs and hour long stretching sessions, and of course, focusing on not constantly worrying about everything every second of the day, and attempt to relaaaaaaaax.
Anyways, my point to writing you is to say thanks. I’m very pressed for cash at this time due to my fiancé’s medical bills and lack of being able to work and me being the sole bread winner, but when I am back on my feet I will be sending a donation. Thank you for all the information you have given me in battling this affliction.

Completely agree. This forum has played an important role for me even in times of remissions when I did not experience any pain - at least I know that there is a space where all my anxieties, pains, desperations are taken seriously by army of buddies fighting same battle. In my life I had some other health issues (mild irritable bowel syndrome, eye problems) but nothing can be compared with cruelty of CPPS.

Agreed. I had been suffering for almost 5 months and couldn't find any resource that wasn't trying to convince me I had some ultra rare hidden infection. Still not cured but a wealth of info and anytime I start getting crazy ideas about what is really happening to me, I come back here to re-educate myself.
