Greetings,
I am new to this forum here. I just started PT this past week and my symptoms have gotten worse. I feel that orgasm feeling you get after releasing but its painful around my inner groin and sometimes outside it. My scrotal/perineum pain has also worsened. I am told that this is normal post PT. I also have been given the electrical stimulation machine, I believe known as the TENS unit. I got some myofascial treatment done and some kind of ultrasound machine too. I am not sure what it was. I know it was not biofeedback. The place I am attending is not specifically for pelvic specialist but does have a pelvic floor physical therapist, whom I am seeing. She is not a DPT but a PT but I don't think that makes much of a difference. She says she treats both men and women. So I was wondering, are these normal to have?
Also I have attached pictures of the exercises in the bottom. They consists of clams and adductor squeezes. Are these harmful to do and make the situation worse? Sorry for not making a clearer post I am just short on time here. Appreciate any feedback. I have my next session Monday.
God bless
Fizz

Re: Physical Therapy Sessions
The adductor squeeze is referred to elsewhere as the KEGELS Adductor Squeeze. Kegels are generally to be avoided.
Nafiz, check this paper out:
Physical Therapist Management of Chronic Prostatitis/Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome
I don't have the time to read it, but see if they advise any sort of Kegel-type squeezes. If not, oops.

Good News! The great ProstaQ is BACK at last! You must try it.
