Caffeine Alert 🔥

Post by webslave »

Be careful of caffeine. Most of us are addicted to the stuff to a greater or lesser extent via tea or coffee, and it really does cause bladder symptoms, even for people who do not have IC/BPS or CP/CPPS! Just in my own social circle there are many 'normal' people who get urgency and frequency from drinking beverages containing caffeine. Of course we already know that caffeine is excluded in the IC Diet and that many people with CPPS complain about caffeine e.g. viewtopic.php?f=13&t=7933&p=45673

It's remarkable how many guys just cannot get cured, no matter what they try, but when you talk to them behind the scenes they finally admit that they drink x number of cups of tea, coffee, diet coke or energy drink per day. :62_58_40:

I know a woman who can't drink caffeine or she will pee her pants a little when she laughs or sneezes. She doesn't have any other problems. I also just realized it's weird she told me that since I barely know her.
