CPPS?

Post by igor777 »

Hi guys, my symptoms started 4 months ago, after a prolonged masturbation/squeezing of the penis, while sexting with my girlfriend. In this period we have talked about a sexual fantasy that made me feel excited and anxious at the same time. Soon I started to feel symptoms like: mild burning at the tip of the penis, mild burning after ejaculation, mild pain (sometimes, rarely) in the penis, feeling of mild pressure in the perineum (rarely), strange feeling in the penis while aroused, sometimes weaker erections, mild discomfort when having an erection. In this 4 months symptoms would flare up, then go away, but the discomfort when having an erection was almost always there (although I can have good erections nowadays). All tests (urine, semen) were negative, no bacteria, nothing.

Started doing stretches of the pelvic floor muscles in combination with diazepam (2 mg daily), and that gave me relief and good progress (being doing this for 2 weeks now). From your experience, is this a classic case of CPPS?

Thanks and all best to all of you.

From what you've said so far, yes.

Thanks.
Since overmasturbation started this in the first place, and erection discomfort is still the main symptom, what should I do: let it rest for a while (a week, two weeks, a month?), or continue to masturbate to get a blood flow in the penis and perineum but cut it down to once or twice a week? I used to masturbate and/or have sex on a daily basis since teenage years, and I'm 40 now.

Some men say that "edging" (prolonging masturbation) can cause symptoms. I would recommend not doing that, and not ejaculating more than 2x per week for a few months. Keep up with the diazepam.
