Manila Protocol sucks!

Post by Kizzo »

I have had chronic bacterial prostatitis since 1988 and have tried many many different protocols to make it more bearable. I can tell you that the absolute worst thing to do is to have drainage or hard massage done to the prostate gland. It made my symptoms so unbearable :blob: that I was considering suicide. If anyone has had a similar experience please share it with us..DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE MANILA PROTOCOL..TAKE IT FROM SOMEONE WHO KNOWS..Now I am considering intraprostatic injections of an antibiotic cocktail into the prostate but I have heard that it can do more harm than good for the condition. :sad2:

After a few unpleasant experiences with uros rubbing my prostate, I decided not to let anyone do it ever again. :hand: Each session hurt me for weeks.
Good News! The great ProstaQ is BACK at last! You must try it.

Keith,

Do you continually truly culture positive-with cultures being done at least from a few reputable hospitals/labs? Don't say that out of negativity-there sre just so few people who actually do have chronic bacterial (anyone who has been to Guercini or Manilla seems to be told they do-at least).

If so, which antibiotic regimens failed?

Yes I do truly have chrinic bacterial prostatitis...I got the condition in 1987 in Tokyo after a sexual encounter..I was treated with only weekly massages by a Japanese urologist for one year..it did absolutely nothing..i was young and scared and never questioned him..I feel like ripping his head off to this day. I then came home on vacation to the US and was treated with a good 3 to 4 years of norfloxacin and ciprofloxacin..They helped and then the prostattitis went into remission even though it never was completely healed...I had a culture done in Arizona in March...Since I do not trust those quacks ..I had two semen analyses done at separate intervals by a very well respected fertility Dr. here in New York...all the cultures showed large clumps of staphylococcus epidermis and staphylococcus hominis ..i definitely have bacterial prostatitis but I also do know that after having the condition for such a along time I believe that I have some pelvic floor dysfunction..hope this answers your question...Keith

Staph is the most common contaminant in such cultures. In fact most labs disregard staph.
