Arousal feeling

Post by Joconne16 »

Lately my pain has been less significant in the urethra and penis tip. However, I’m now noticing a deep feeling of arousal when I’m sitting or walking. No erection but something inside (maybe prostrate) feels a bit tingly.

Anyone ever hear of this sensation or have it themselves?

Thanks.

Jonathan

Search the forum for fasciculations. It's a good sign.

Neurological effects of the condition. Rare but not unprecedented.

When my issues first started, I had the arousal type feelings as you describe. Over time it progressed into pain. My pain was always in the perineum area, but in my body. After reading "headache in the pelvis" I feel that this is pelvic floor muscle issues, the taught bands that the book describes. Stress/pelvic floor tension related. Anti-inflammatory meds calm it down. Skin rolling in the perineum area as well as TENSing the same area helps. I started focusing on relaxing my pelvic floor muscles when I felt this discomfort and I could actually feel a drop in my body. I assume that I am subconsciously tensing my pelvic floor muscles.
