Since being diagnosed recently with CPPS in November I have had to quit working out. First few times I tried working out my symptoms flared up (urgency, pain). So I am a little scared to go back to the gym. I have a PT appointment Friday for pelvic floor exercises, but I am use to doing heavy lifting, running, etc.
Can anyone here with with more experience tell me if they were ultimately able to get back into a lifting routine without flare ups? Thanks

Re: Exercising with CPPS
There are definitely people who have gone back to weights as they improved. Amongst our members, one or two won prizes for bodybuilding.
Good News! The great ProstaQ is BACK at last! You must try it.

Re: Exercising with CPPS
Couldn’t run a mile now I can go for 5 again which is nice. Still too tired from the battle to go back in gym yet but I guess I could
Age: 32| Onset Age: 30 | Symptoms: “Cured“ now, no symptoms. Symptoms were: 8/10 pain, couldn't sit, bleeding anus, ED, HF (tinnitus too from stress), Insomnia or CFS | Helped By: Stretching, foam roller, hot baths, sauna, tennis ball, antidepressants (acupuncture and fasting improved the tinnitus a lot) | Worsened By: stress, sitting, chronic masturbation but yeah mainly stress | Other comments:
