- The mind is (typically) the root cause of CPPS.
- Reduce the frequency of thought related to the condition. Meditation can be helpful in dealing with recurring negative thoughts. It's critical to stop the catastrophic thinking. Keep reminding yourself that this condition will eventually pass.
- There is no magic bullet to cure this condition. But, things like CBD, and other calming herbs are helpful. Magnesium works well before bedtime.
- Prepare for the long haul. Improvement happens slowly.
- Healing is both a mental and physical journey that you will need to commit to.
- Develop positive visualization techniques and practice these every day. For instance, I visualize a sphere of warm healing energy which starts in the perineum and grows throughout the entire pelvic region. As the healing energy pushes through muscle, connective tissues, organs, it's relieving all inflammation, reducing all tension, healing nerves, and allowing everything to work as a coordinated system. I visualize the same thing happening in my mind, where negative recurring thoughts simply dissolve when touched by the healing energy. Don't discount techniques like this.
- Deal with all of your deepest fears and sources of internal rage that may exist in the subconscious mind. Make a list if needed. John Sarno books talk about this.
- Don't be afraid to workout and do physical activities if you typically do.

13 Months and 95% Better
Hi Guys, to all of you suffering I just want to offer some words of encouragement to help you stay positive. I've been dealing with this condition since Oct 2017, and while I'm not completely out of the woods, I do feel 95% better. Here are a few things I've learned from this condition.
Age:42 | Onset Age: 42 | Symptoms: Cold feeling in penis, sore perineum, post urinary discomfort, coccyx pain / tension | Helped By: warm baths, meditation, sleep, Xanax, walking. | Worsened By: aggressive exercise, ejaculation, overthinking! | Other comments:
