25 and lost all will to live.

Post by lroyal »

It all started last week. I tried having sex with my girlfriend and I could not sustain an erection easily like before. Eventually I managed to get hard and we had sex but upon ejaculating I noticed hardly any semen came out.

Ever since I have had a slight burn when and after urinating. My morning erections are still frequent, but have become significantly weaker.

I went to the urologist who done a STD test (negative) prostate examine (negative)

He prescribed me which I believe to be the usual after research.

Ciproxin antibiotics and Xatralioyo for any inflammation.

I haven’t taken any of them yet, but after reading everything I doubt it will work. I have no signs of a bacterial infection. Some how my doctor seemed certain it was bacterial. How I don’t know.

My worse scare is losing my ability to procreate and my wife. If that happens I may well not exits is how I feel.

Has anyone gone through these symptoms and still conceived children.

Good news: there is no connection between your symptoms and infertility.

Get over the panic and depression. We all recover from this condition, sooner or later. You'll be fine.

I can just guess that nearly everyone on this forum probably took Cipro for this condition at some stage or another. wouldn't work unless you have an infection (best checked by EPS) but may help you temporarily indirectly

A lot of times when you're 25 they assume you got some kinda infection.

I'd try to find a doc who can do the EPS (where they push on your prostate and then check the little bit of secretion that comes out of your dick for bacteria). That's a better test than just the urine culture.
Age: 25 | Onset Age: 21 | Symptoms: Pain in perineum area, bad ED, slower stream, loss of libido, | Helped By: Uroxatral, Heavy Doses of NSAIDs, Really Hot Baths/Sauna | Worsened By: Sex, Masturbation, Spicy Foods, biking, certain exercises, sudafed| Other comments: Mine started in a time after copious amounts of sex, I also held in ejaculation for a long long time after a sex break which may have contributed. Also went from protected to unprotected sex around this same time, but all tests show no bacteria. I do not have urgency issues.

Is it possible having a girlfriend and a wife is the root cause of the problem, or at least part of it? Maybe..... Subconsciously?
Age: 52 | Onset Age:49 (but I may have had warning signs 25 yrs earlier)| Symptoms: Pretty much all the usual suspects. Frequency, urgency, inability to always empty, burning and numbing uretheral, penile & perineum pain. Frequent urination at night.| Helped By: Internal PT. Myrbetriq helps but is by no means great. TENS to help sleep, and hand held massages of the lower back, hips and buttocks. Standing and physical labor help. Stretches and hot baths. Occasionally use gel iced pad on the perineum. Worsened By: Sitting (being sedentary), driving, sex, bowel movements, tight clothing and underwear. | Other comments: Currently trying L-Theanine

Haha, I only have one woman in my life. I meant wife as in the future.

The update:

The Urologist called me to say that the urine bacteria test came back negative.

I am now my 4th day taking 500mg Cipro twice daily. Since the first day Morning erections have come back strong, and with some vengeance (not sure if this due to Cipro). No erections during the day, if I do get one they are weaker than usually.

I have constipation, but this started before taking the Antibiotics. Lastly the burning has subsided slightly, but not completely. The during seems to kinda of come and go.

I think its important to provide this update because many people just make one post, then if all is fine they just leave and never provide an update.

Gotcha on the typo! Just saying... If you have CPPS, you don't need that stress to make matters worse.

Negative as in there is Bacteria? Or Negative to Bacteria? Sometimes people confuse the 2 when using Negative and Positive - when they mean the exact opposite. So if there is Bacteria, maybe the Cipro will help. If there is no Bacteria and you are taking Cipro, be prepared that it will get worse again. Not trying to scare you, just be prepared.

@ChgoGuy — Yeah there is not any bacteria. The doctor did say the glands in my groin were inflamed indicative of an infection. Now I think of it more I doubt the antibiotics are not reason for the erections coming back isn't likely to the medication because they literally came back the morning after.

I am at a loss because I read elsewhere that people with symptoms just like mine Cipro has worked for. The ED and infertility are my biggest fears. We shall see.

Change in Semen . Please help.

Post by lroyal »

Hi Guys, sorry back again seeking some help

I Decided to try and Masturbation today, as I was worried about my semen. Upon ejaculation I noticed that the texture of my semen has changed, it has become slightly more watery but much more lumpy and it has lost its usual smell, it now smells of nothing. The volume and power of ejaculation seemed the same.

Has anyone experienced this, and did it ever return to normal or effect fertility? I am seeing the urologist tomorrow.

IDK - could be any of the reasons mentioned IMHO!?!? The only point I wanted to make is that there could be multiple reasons for it looking lumpy.
