Any advice for Interstitial Cystitis? Please help

Hey everyone. I am new to this forum. I know this is a prostatitis forum, but I know interstitial Cystitis and Prostatitis are highly related and misdiagnosed vice versa. I was diagnosed by cystoscopy with IC back in 2011 via cystoscopy. I am currently a 30 year old male. My urologist said my bladder was inflamed. It went away for three years and came back two and a half years ago. The past two and a half years have had its ups and downs and I had a good stretch before this week for about five months. This past week it flared up again and it is the worst I ever felt with it. So much pain that doesn't go away. It used to go away after I urinated but now it isn't even doing that. I hate the diet and feel like an outcast when I am on it. It doesn't even help me I don't think. I am worried about this. I mean people cannot even figure out where it comes from. It is scary. I feel horrible and I am afraid it will not let up. I was in tears today. Has anyone had any experience with this? Please help me out if you can. Thank you so much.

Welcome to the forum. Many members here have the IC-flavor of pelvic pain, so you are not alone. Are you in a stressful life situation? What items are you excluding on your diet? Have you tried any accredited quercetin product or Cysta-Q or Quercetin?

Thanks for the response. I have never tried those supplements. I excluded everything from my diet for two weeks and it didn't seem to help. I was eating unseasoned chicken and rice.

Try it for a few months and see if it helps. If it helps, stick to it.
