Hey Guys,
I had open lab today, and got sidetracked in a long conversation with my lab aids, one of whom obtained some brain damage (motor) from an accident, and was not expected to recover much at all, but has made a full recovery. He is a brilliant PTA student, but is planning on continuing on into Neurology after he gets the current degree.
He recommended to me a couple authors that he found helpful in his journey so I thought I'd share them here because they seem to fit perfectly with our chronic pain condition and the ever evolving discoveries with neuroplasticity, the nervous system and brain that we have seen here starting with Webslave's ground breaking work and journey and many others.
I have not read these books yet, but I will be obtaining copies ASAP and reading them. If you have read them already, let us know if they're good. (My apologies if they're already in the site reading list, I have not checked yet.)
I was told they're great.
The authors are: Dr. Norman Doidge MD, and Dr. Caroline Leaf
