Does anyone know of any "real" cases of CP sufferers benifiting from TCM (traditional Chinese Med) or is generally a placebo effect kind of thing.
I admit to knowing very little about it - I have read some - most of it sounds like your typical scam that is too good to be true - but I am a cynic at heart...
Just would like to hear from other's experiences and thoughts on this.

Acupuncture has some very supportive studies. The rest has not.
Good News! The great ProstaQ is BACK at last! You must try it.

TCM has helped me
I would like to share with you my experience with TCM. First of all, I got prostatitis when I was 22. All doctors I saw said there was nothing wrong with me and I was too young to have prostatitis. My urologist thought I got 'phyocosomatic'(spelling ?). At that time, my symptoms were as below:
1) difficulty in emptying bladder
2) very weak urine stream
3) dribbling after urination
Since I am still a sexual virgin, and I have given up masturbation for a long time, so I don't know if TCM has helped me in sexual dysfunction.
Thinking back, I think I got the chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome because I tried to use my sphincter muscles to stop ejaculation. Like other chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome patients, I tried all options that could help me, and I finally saw a TCM doctor. After weeks of herb treatment, all urinary symptoms disappeared. What I have now is pain near anus after long period of sitting(I got a computer job). I am taking herb from time to time to alleviate the symptoms. Therefore, I still can't convince myself TCM is a cure as the disease can recur easily. Compared with other patients here who got burning when passing the water, I consider myself fortunate. I hope you can try it if you can't find a relief from tradition method.
