Dear Forum Members,
MY name is Dr. Nicholas Wood and I am a clinical psychologist and CP/CPPS sufferer since March 2009. I am in the process of developing a proposal for a general self-help book for men with CP/CPPS and wondered if there were any comments about a provisional Table of Contents as outlined: - I can be e-mailed at my University email - <[email protected]>
1. Urological Lay guidance
2. Medical microbiological guidance
3. Physiotherapy guidance
4. Psychological guidance
5. The Stanford/Wise-Anderson Protocol? (Wise or Anderson?)
6. Managing CP/CPPS (thematic analysis of several 'recovered' accounts)
7. Managing CP/CPPS (thematic analysis of several accounts of men still 'ill')
8. Meditation
9. Mindfulness
10. Dietary considerations
11. Sexual issues
12. Partners' perspective (How to live with someone with CP/CPPS)
Sincerely, Nick Wood

Have you read Tim Parks's book?

If you mean 'Tim Parks'' book - Teach us to Sit Still? If so, yes, I've read it and Tim has kindly agreed to contribute a chapter on meditation.

It's Wise-Anderson, BTW, not Wise or Anderson.

Re: Self Help Book?
Thanks - I wrote Wise or Anderson as I'm not sure whom to approach to write to ask about possibly representing the 'Wise-Anderson' protocol - any suggestions welcomed!
