When trying to find the internal trigger points I found an area about 10-11 cm's in to the front and to the right side.
When I apply pressure it hurts quite bad and it can be felt also up in to the lower abdomen.
My symptoms (testicle inflammation/pain) was worse the next day but subsided after a couple of days.
My question is if I could mistake the seminal vesicles from trigger points and hurt myself from doing this or if
the seminal vesicles can have trigger points as well?

Trigger points and seminal vesicles
Age: 36 Onset Age: 34 Symptoms: Testicular inflammation(red testicles sometimes warm), testicular pain when ejaculating, muscle spasms after ejaculation. The first two weeks increased urination. Diagnosis: Nonbacterial Prostatitis. No bacteria found. Onset was after abstaining from ejaculation for one month, doing Kegel exercises and then it started after a leg-workout with chills and feverlike symptoms that subsided after a couple of days.

Re: Trigger points and seminal vesicles
Seminal vesicles cannot have trigger points (not voluntary muscle tissue). If there is an infection in there, pressing it may help (my opinion only), since it's full of convoluted canals and diverticula that can be difficult to drain.

Re: Trigger points and seminal vesicles
Is it possible to feel the seminal vesicles when they are not inflamed? I can feel my prostate through the wall of the rectum, but I'm not sure I've ever directly palpated my seminal vesicles. Where exactly are they, anyway? Thanks!
Current age: 30; Symptoms began: 29; | Symptoms: dull, burning pain in scrotal, perineal and rectal areas, focused on the left side, dull stomach pain when sitting; Improved by: stretching, yoga, Theracane massage (external and internal, though it causes flare-ups), diazepam (valium), hydrocodone (vicodin), hot baths, sleep, relaxed sex, alcohol (a little); Worsened by: SITTING, frequent masturbation/ejaculation, lots of caffeine (but a little's okay); May help a little: Doxazosin (but caused heartburn), Prosta-Q, nerve block injection (provided symptomatic relief for a few days but likely no long-term benefit); NO help: Amitriptyline (Elavil), Cernilton

Re: Trigger points and seminal vesicles
The green structures labelled "4" are the seminal vesicles.
If the physician's finger is long enough, he or she may be able to feel the soft, tubular seminal vesicles above the prostate. Coming off the base of the prostate somewhat obliquely, they are most easily felt when they are distended or tender.

Re: Trigger points and seminal vesicles
Thanks! I think my own finger is probably not long enough to feel my own seminal vesicles. I can just barely reach my prostate with my own finger.
