Flares, how often?

Post by Paso »

I assume there is no "schedule" for flares. But how often and how many times have you flared since you got CPPS/IC?. Also how long have you had it?

I have been feeling quite good the last month (Knock on wood) with very little pain and not much frequency. Have been using stretching and relaxation with the "Theta" CD:s. The are super for relaxing. Two things that I wonder about.

1. when I take a hot bath (just when jumping in the tub) I feel an urge to pee for 1-2 mins. Always the same.

2. I have had NO pain during urination nor during sex, but yesterday while I was washing my penis before sex I got this burning feeling on the tip of my penis. It feelt like it was inside the tip. It stayed for a while but this morning it was gone. I wonder if it was the soap?. CP/IC related? What do you recon?

There is no real way that I could say how many or how often or even an average. I can't find a rhyme or reason to them. They just come and go on their own from the best that I can tell. If I found a reason then I would sure as hell avoid it like the plague. I still experiment with things like spices and such to see what happens and nail down some indications. Nothing has come back as a possitive and reliable result.

Some flares are mild and some are horrible. I think maybe I'm just getting used to the feeling and the life with them.
