Prostate 2.4 supplement

Post by borat1 »

I just moved to a new area and checked in with a Urologists. Unfortunately there are not any PT's in my area that deal with pelvic pain, but due to the chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome I've had over the last year and a half and a track record of prostate cancer in my family the Doc recommended Prostate 2.4.

Has anyone used this? It's geared at keeping the prostate healthy, but at the same time focuses on preventing the development of Prostate Cancer.

Here's the link.

Thanks,

Borat

This looks like an excellent supplement for a man with a family history of PCa. I'd take one capsule daily and not two, and I'd add pomegranate juice into the mix.
Pomegranate Extract May Slow Prostate Cancer Advance

ORLANDO—A pomegranate extract slowed progression of prostate cancer (PCa) in a study of men who had rising PSA levels after primary treatment for the malignancy.

The phase 2 double-blind study, led by Michael A. Carducci, MD, of the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, found that treatment with the pomegranate extract (POMx) was associated with a greater than six-month median increase in PSA doubling time (PSADT).

Previous research has shown that pomegranate extract has antitumor effects.
