Ultram (tramadol) works for me to break a pain cycle. Usually takes 4-5 days. Unfortunately, it causes migraine headaches, tingling and numbness in my hands, and extreme depression the day or days after I take it. I should also mention I'm on Zoloft.
Has anyone found a medication that breaks the pain cycle without the above side effects. I do understand each person reacts differently to medication. It's just that Ultram and I don't get along anymore.
Thanks for any feedback.

Re: Alternative to Ultram to Break Pain Cycle
Try a different opioid, like Oxycontin.
Good News! The great ProstaQ is BACK at last! You must try it.
