Dizzy and brain fog?

Post by calguy »

Ok well thought I would throw this out here cause at a loss and docs arent much help yet.

About 2 weeks I ended up in ER for dehydration and ever since then I have been dizzy and in a fog. Almost feels like my body is fight something. Thought it might be sinus infection but no sign of infection. ENT said my nasal passages could be inflamed due to allergies but never had problem with allergies. He put me antihistamine spray and prescription claretin. These have helped and feel better and 2 days but the scary thing is when I push my body I get dizzy. Walking on treadmill with any kind of intensity makes me dizzy. Blood work ok, blood pressure fine and blood sugar ok to. I had this before when chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome first hit me and that was due to anxiety and stress and believe I just burned my adrenal glands out, but was never dizzy. Have been having slight neck and jaw problems which is slight case of tmj. Headaches, dizzy, head fog and kinda lazy. Like I said this all started after dehydration incident. Could my body just need time to adjust? Getting more test done next couple weeks so will see but any ideas welcome? Never knew antihistamine are prescribed to help dizziness either.
Age 32, onset 32 Onset Aug 07- frequency was main problem in the beginning-really bad. Now 1 to 2x per night when frequency flairs up. Sore and tight lower abdominal muscles. Occasional burning after bowel movement and full feeling. What helps: Healthy diet(this is huge for me) Started drinking super greens supplament and almost going totally vegetarian to get body more alkaline, starting Prosta-Q, quercetin/zinc tablet in morning helped frequency problem I believe. Massaging abs and doing stretches helps calm down frequency when it is acting up. Wine or vodka after long day. Flexeral and melatonin at night. Swimming and light weights. .5 of Elavil every other day helps with frequency and healing process. Trying to stay positive and not stressing over this!

I'm not a MD, but I'd be suspicious of either kidney (kidney failure) or circulation (embolism) problems if this is related to the dehydration incident. Dehydration makes it easier for blood clots to form. Those are the most serious possible causes, but there are probably many more less serious things that could be going on.
Good News! The great ProstaQ is BACK at last! You must try it.
