Hi All,
I made the bad decision a few days ago to have some pretty vigorous sex with my girlfriend and because I was on Tramadol at the time, it lasted WAY longer than I expected (probably about 2.5 hours of sex over a period of 7 hours) and involved a lot of thrusting. I felt some pain while it was happening, but for some stupid reason I decided to continue anyway. For the last few days I've been feeling pretty heavy pain that seems like it's close to my prostate.
My question for you all is:
1) whether you've experienced this sort of pain
2) whether it's something that can be attributed to sensitized nerves/CPPS
3) what are the most effective treatments (I'm on Naproxen and doing hot baths, also on Quercetin)
4) how long this can be expected to last
Thanks MUCH in advance.

Re: Pain After Vigorous Sex
Even normal men can experience discomfort after that sort of sex. Having chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome will make it worse than it otherwise would be. Rest, rest and more rest. Time is the only thing that will fix it ... may take a week to go away. Try to avoid in future. Remember the old saying about "moderation in all things".
Good News! The great ProstaQ is BACK at last! You must try it.

Re: Pain After Vigorous Sex
Thanks webslave. Only worried because the pain doesn't feel as though it is gradually being reduced. It's kind of starting and stopping, which is a kind of pain I've never experienced with chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome before (it's typically highly correlated with how stressed I am/how much meditating I'm doing).
After getting a prostate massage done by Dr. Shoskes in January, I had pretty serious prostate pain that lasted for about a week -- hoping this is something similar and that it'll go away soon. In the meantime, I'm definitely going to chill out with the sex.

Re: Pain After Vigorous Sex
if you've done any sort of "holding back" at all, and it's almost impossible to avoid unconsciously, pain's going to be exponentially worse. just that second or two of added resistance to climax is enough to crush you....relax during that interval and pain goes way down, even goes away, depending on your symptom threshold.

Hmm, interesting. Thanks for the reply. Will definitely make some changes in how I'm approaching this.
