Stretching Question

Post by critthinker »

Hi All,

I have seen four PTs in the last 10 months and am pretty confident that I have eliminated the overwhelming majority of my trigger points and areas of tension. However, I do still notice some tension when I perform the following stretch:

--Standing up straight, I lean back (keeping my legs straight) until my head and both of my arms are touching the wall behind me (which is a few feet away from where my feet are planted).

Can someone tell me:

1) which muscle/muscle group I am likely stretching? I can feel the tension in what I can only describe as the area that is an inch or two posterior to the penis.
2) of other stretches that can effectively target these muscles?

Thanks!

There are a lot of muscles in that area. Look at the diagrams and perhaps you can work it out:

Good News! The great ProstaQ is BACK at last! You must try it.
