Internal massage seems to work

Post by extreme3 »

While my chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome has improved dramatically over the past 2 years, I still have some residual pain around the rectum which is makes sitting a bit uncomfortable. My urinary symptoms are pretty much gone now. While I've read HITP, I've have never tried TP therapy before either.

I recently starting trying a crystal wand to see if I could get rid of that pain that won't quite go away. Upon some light internal massage work, I could feel the pelvic muscles go into a sort of spasm and noticed great relief afterwards. Of course, the next day it comes back but I feel certain this continued massage is just another part of combating the condition and over time I'll gradually see greater returns.

I'm sure many others here can relate. I'd just like to add another testimonial promoting the success of internal massage. Good luck everyone.

I just got a crystal wand deluxe and tried it for the first time today. I was just testing it out, I'm not trying to release trigger points or treat myself yet as I have not received any instruction. I just inserted it up till maybe the halfway point and played with it for like 30 minutes. I found some very tender areas. Its important to go slow and gently (especially at first) because there were a few times i went a bit too hard or fast. I think one could injure themselvs quite easily if not careful.

Now that I'm done, everything down there seems more relaxed and loose.
Age: 25 | Onset Age: 19 | Symptoms: cloudy white urine (most frequently in the colder months of the year), pain in testicles (very infrequent and mild nowdays, used to be 24/7 and bad for like at least 1 1/2 years), pain in lower back (now virtually nonexistant, used to be 24/7), muscle spasm in perineum area (during sexual activity, extreme stress/injury, sneezing, and when changing position when lying down), dribbling after urination, weak urine stream, a feeling of not emptying completely after urination, sometimes hesitancy starting, golfball feeling in rectum at times (usually relieved/lessened by defecation), premature ejaculation, little pleasure when ejaculating too quickly from masturbating, weak erections most of the time (and even if they have some strength sometimes, usually it goes limp after a few minutes), white particulate matter in semen most of time, | Helped By: Relaxation | Worsened By: ejaculation, or any kind of sexual activity, especially prolonged arousal without touching my genitals, spicy foods, hard excercises, prolonged sitting

Extreme 3 - it's reassuring to hear you are successfully recovering. Could you highlight what you felt worked best in reducing your urinary & frequency symptoms? From your post, it appears you have overcome those issues without internal massage. Thanks

Sandcrab - Two years ago, my initial symptoms were rectal/perineum pain and urinary symptoms (frequency, weakness of stream, etc.). For me, I realized that certain triggers (e.g. caffeine) caused flares in the urinary department. I got a sense of what was causing them and cut out the offenders immediately (I cut out coffee and tea almost completely: water is my primary beverage of choice now). I believe abstaining from these gave me time to heal properly (bladder, prostate or otherwise).

Other than that, exercise gives me great relief (promoting blood flow in any respect seems to help). I'm still stuck with rectal and perineum pain which appears to be muscular in nature.

As with anything, stick with the plan - it's taken years to improve. Best of luck.
