I am onto my second girlfriend who seems to display irritation symptoms after continued unprotected sex where before they had no symptoms--my current girlfriend has a good amount of experience. When I say irritation, I mean yeast infection-like symptoms that she has treated as such, but possibly she heals simply by the fact that we don't have intercourse for a week or two (sometimes medicating as well). Both have described their pain simply as feeling less lubricated and thus more irritated, especially if we go pretty passionately. I definitely can feel the difference in the way we were before and now. Is it possible that I have a yeast infection in my prostate and could transmit it? How would I be tested for such? My current girlfriend somehow feels that my sperm is a bit acidic, although tests have proven it to be a bit too basic not acidic.
I've been tested for all the usual suspects, chlamydia, gonorrhoea etc etc. --except could mycoplasma genitalium cause this? What is a PNR DNA test, and do all uro's know of this? And, regarding a previous post, what the h*** is mast cell degranulation in my semen and any news on this front, and its likelihood to cause irritation in my girlfriend??
My symptoms are classic pelvic pain syndrome, and I haven't been taking antibiotics at all so I have no reason to believe that I'm loading myself or my girlfriend with yeast...
It seems to be nonbacterial CPPS but...contagious??

Born 1980, Feb 2006 my mother died followed by another very traumatic discovery, I had a sneezing fit, a week later I had a sexual encounter in which I pressed hard on my perineum to stop ejaculation. The next day I began to experience pain and burning in urination. I then tested positive for chlamydia; it took antibiotics and eventually had to take homoeopathic medicine to make it disappear. Tested negative several times since, but the pain hasn't subsided. Soon, my semen changed from milky white and smooth to half white smooth/half clearish yellow clumpy & gelatinous. Tested negative to pudendal nerve entrapment. Gluten free helps some. Broccoli diet no help, Chinese med increased libido but didn't help urine burning. Alcohol and stress affect strongly. Trigger point mass helps, in and out, but never attended Wise's clinic. Yoga and exercise help. Good sperm but high WBC & basic. CURRENTLY: varying intensity depending on stress and sitting: urinary burning and frequency, spasms in perineum, ibs-constipation, much less control of ejaculation, much less ecstasy in orgasms and life in general, sperm still yellowish. Current pain level compared to previous '100%' pain:70%

I had this happen a lot with my partner as well especially in the beginning. I had taken many antibiotics many months before this started happening and I had felt at the time that I had killed off all my good bacteria. This also correlated with reactions to food and some stomach issues. It went away 2 years later. In that time frame I watched my diet and took in a lot of probiotics. Not sure if this helped or if it just went away on it's own?

Hate to say it, but less lubrication and discomfort with sex can have psychological causes in women. They may be less fond of you than previously. Do you talk about your pelvic issues a lot? That can be a mistake.

indeed, i'm aware of this, i steer clear of discussing too much. But ectasy is communicable of course, so she can probably tell a bit that i'm not having perfect orgasms. i don't have too much pain that i can't go for a weekend of passion so it's nothing extreme, and we have a really good spontaneous sexual energy together. she's convinced her condition is nothing too out of the normal and i haven't pushed the issue. that's how she is. who knows. it's just that if we go hot and heavy, normally she has problems afterwards where before it wasn't like that.
anything about testing for mycoplasma genitalium or yeast in me, anyone?

Yeast infections of the prostate usually occur in the immunocompromised or people with AIDS.
M. genitalium is highly susceptible to treatment with macrolide antibiotics, so get a course of them. Most doctors will treat for mycoplasmas presumptively, since testing for it is very difficult (DNA).
