hoppy beer . Interesting story

I'm apretty avid homebrewer. I just brewed a super hoppy beer. I finally tried it last night and it was fantastic. The funny thing was I felt lie I just took a Valium when I drank it. So I got to thinking, hops have sedative characteristics. After mch research on the Internet I came to the conclusion that the relaxing benefit of hops may be good for people here. Hop tea, hoppy beer. Itswortj a shot. I was feelng great last nght until the alcohol kicked n. Still feel good today as well. Has anyone had success with this before?

I know some people here have more trouble with beer than other forms of alcohol. But beer doesn't seem to be an issue for me, and my tastes run toward the hoppy ones, too. I just finished a DFH 90. (I haven't had time to brew in awhile, but that used to be my top hobby, too.) Still, I doubt that people who have trouble with lager would do better on a monster IPA. (An IPA is an especially hoppy beer, for non-beer people.)
