New guy with questions
First off, I am glad I have found a site that is so informative. Last summer, we drove to South Dakota on vacation. This is about an eleven hour drive for me (by far the longest I have ever been in a car at once) . Once out there of course all you do is drive around to get to places. Anyway, we drove home 4 days later straight through and when I got home we drove to the kids baseball tourneys Sat. and Sunday. Long story short, a lot of driving. On Monday I noticed a gray liquid at the end of my penis when I was going number 2. Then all day my penis would stick to my underwear. This kept up for a week or so and my left nut would ache. I also had frequent urges to urinate and hard to start a stream. I went to the doc and she examined my nuts and did a urine test and said it was all ok and put me on sulfameth. This did not work so I headed back to a diff. doc and he did a rectal and said my prostate was normal. He thought I should have STD test. This was also negative (which I knew but I got that look from my wife anyway) The discharge had stopped at that time but symptoms were changing. It felt like someone was pulling on a hair at the bottom of my left nut once in a while. Also, it felt like I had a pulled groin muscle on my left side. I went to a urologist who I told my lengthy story to. He did a rectal and felt my testicles and said I was fine (he looked at me like I wanted some attention or that I liked the DRE ya right!) Symptoms would get worse and get better for the next few months. I have low sex drive and still have the ache in groin and my left nut feels like there is a string draped over it from the bottom to the top. Its a little annoying but not too painful. Is this a vein? I told all the doctors I thought it was nonbacterial prostatitis or something similar to it but they said my prostate felt fine so it must not be. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I am 38 years old.

Don't think the driving has much to do with it, although from your description I can see that you feel it is a key component. It may have been the final straw that pushed you over the edge into a symptomatic state. If you have had your testicles examined and nobody found a varicocele, then seeing that your other symptoms are fairly typical, all I can suggest is that you read a lot here. You'll find a lot of pointers.
Good News! The great ProstaQ is BACK at last! You must try it.

Re: New guy with questions
You think you got a look from your wife... My very first onset of problems, 15+ years ago, was diagnosed by a doctor (who did no STD test) as probable chlamydia.
It was my wife's birthday.
That is what I get for going to a student health center. Actually, I think I did have an infection of some sort at that point, a UTI, which wasn't treated very well and contributed to all of my later troubles (which no longer involved an active infection).
Edit to say that I hope you get some relief.
