Trouble getting erections and lack of libido
I'm 26 yrs old and having a hard time dealing with this issue. I've been seeing a PT for about 6 months now and in addition got trigger point injections from a doctor twice (last week was my last one). I feel just a little sore and some ghost pains around my anal sphincter. However, when it comes to getting an erection I feel constant pressure and soreness around there which doesn't enable me to get an erection. This issue has been extremely hard on both myself and my girlfriend. PLEASE HELP!!

Pain around anal sphincter
I feel great sensitivity, soreness, and pressure around my anal sphinter. Is this related to CPPS?? My urologist diagnosed me with CAT III B CPPS. In addition my PT told me my muscles above the prostate are very tight. ALl of these conditions contribute to my lack of erectiona dn low libido. Please anyone advice in treatment.

Re: Trouble getting erections and lack of libido
Sounds like you have a lot if tension in the muscles of the anal sphincter area, which is not that unusual in CPPS. There are probes that can measure the level of muscle tension in the area. Your case sounds typical, and rather than have us repeat all the same treatment options, please read more posts on the forum, including the Sticky posts at the top.

No, Viagra is not a problem. The probes are usually owned by Physical Therapists.
