Does any of this sound like something that could do with sinuses. These feelings are hard to describe, but I will do my best. I feel a heaviness in my head, I feel tired almost all the time, I have lost some of my hearing in my right ear and feel minor pain and that clogged feeling in the same ear. I feel like when I turn my head my brain does not turn as fast, my sinuses almost always feel full waking up with blood when I blow my nose (not a lot of blood). Sometimes reading feels like I am looking through prescription reading glasses. A couple of years ago my ear felt full so I pinched off my nostrils and blew, when I did this I got so dizzy and light headed I could not stand for 10 to 20 minutes but I am not sure if this could of caused it somehow. I have also taken antidepressant for several years Actually I know it couldn't have been the ear popping attempt know because I remember having it before the antidepressants over 10 years ago, but it seemed to have gotten a lot better w/ taking them. If I miss taking the antidepressant I get very bad brain zaps or I would like to quit taking them altogether. I went to an ENT about 8 months ago and she looked in my ears and nose and said everything looked fine ( but with out insurance who knows how much she really checked. I was just wondering if anyone has any idea of what this could be and what I could try? I am also a pretty heavy smoker which I know isn't good for anything including sinuses.
Thank You

Re: Sinus and or What ??
Sinusitis is one of the conditions that frequently occur along with CPPS. This is not just speculation, is has been shown in studies. It's connected with food allergies and intolerances, in my opinion. The things that provoke sinusitis in me are: windy and dusty conditions outdoors, corn, milk products. Symptoms for me are usually subtle, starting with fatigue and irritability. Usually also have some blood and/or coloured mucous from nose. Sometimes my voice becomes a little croaky. The cure is to avoid the triggers, and lots of rest with no exercises at all.
The smoking is a no-no for sinusitis and CPPS.

Good News! The great ProstaQ is BACK at last! You must try it.

As a sufferer of chronic sinusitis, I can tell you that the symptoms you describe perfectly match the condition.
Sinusitis is basically an inflammatory condition--an overresponsive immune system. The sinuses swell, preventing drainage, and then infection develops. The vision issues you describe are from swelling in the Ethmoid sinus region(s).
The best way to treat this condition is through irrigation using a machine. I use a Grossan Hydropulse with the following solution:
480ml of COOL distilled water (never warm--that will increase swelling)
15ml of Alkalol (a mucus solvent)
3-5ml of hydrogen peroxide (only if there is an active infection)
2 tablespoons of Zyletol (BreatheEaseXL).
Irrigating with this 3 times a day using the machine will clear most infections.
As in the case of CPPS, antibiotics are rarely effective against sinus infections, although they may prevent infection from spreading to the lungs.
