red scrotum syndome

hey guys....was wondering if anyone had heard of red scrotum syndrome......my pt noticed that my testicles are pretty red...not sure if this is from constant hot packs of not......bottom line is she said there was nothing to do for it....but since she compared it to rsd i made me nervous.....any info you have would be appreciated...gary

Hot packs will inflame the skin if used too much (google "erythema ab igne").
