In an effort to diagnose my problem, I put this on the table. I have IBS with trapped gas, FINE. I also have pubic abdominal pain. Now here is my theory:
Is it possible that the abdominal wall over the bladder has been distended so much that it's now loose? It feels loose and sometimes swelled at the base of my penis. It can also feel like my small bowel trying to penetrate my inguinal canal.
I even read that abdominal wall pain can be treat with injection but mine it feel more like a pinch of the small bowel at the worst.

Re: Lower abdominal pain
Really, as a layman, this sort of speculation is just a waste of time and guaranteed to get you more worked up and anxious. I think your self-diagnosis and theories are not correct, but if you continue to have such fears, the best thing to do is see a gastroenterologist and get a small bowel scan and/or colonoscopy.
Good News! The great ProstaQ is BACK at last! You must try it.

I agree with Webslave 100%. Yes, it's natural to think up theories like this. But unless you have a background in medicine and/or some sort of hard evidence that you got from the medical literature, anatomical theories like this are not likely to get you anywhere.

Re: Lower abdominal pain
Gas and abdominal pain is common with IBS. IBS is common with pelvic floor problems. You may want to investigate some of the more diagnostic tests for a hernia to put your mind at ease, especially if you were a weightlifter or such.
