Seen Bill for the second time today and all went well. He says my pelvic floor is less tense even though I had a lot of painful spots again when the internal work started ouch
He located straight to the trigger point that recreates my pain which is penis base /prostate etc area. Like many said, it it is just past the prostate on the right hand side in about the 2 o'clock position. You can actually feel like a grove where the finger slips in
Bill's been guiding me in on how to reach this deep one. Hopefully I can still hit it when home, at airport at minute
A guy who has had this 22 years signed off today with him pain free, hope one day that will be me
Age:33 | Onset Age:19 | Symptoms:burning urethra, deep sore stinging around the perineum, dribbling | Helped By:when flare starts deep relaxing over a toilet to let out dribbling urine, hot bath, rubbing a heat cream on the perineum, Tens with a pad on the perineum, running, medication (solpadol) for pain. Current treatment: PT. | Worsened By:sitting, stressing over it, ejaculation, sometimes alcohol but I risk it. Been feeling a lot better last 6 months about 85% with a few flares lasting about 5 days. No longer having PT. Stretching every other night and I believe time is also a big factor for me
Great news Graeme and thanks for sharing your experience. Treating myself is something I am curious on how to do, mainly because I havent got long fingers, and dont find the experience very plesant. Plus looking for wands in the uk hasnt been very fruitful.
The guy that had this for 22 years (oh god) did Bill say how long he had been treating him? I assume it wasn't for the entire 22 years, or at least I hope not!
Age: 33 | Onset Age: 32 Initial Symptoms: Frequent urination Current Symptoms: The odd feeling of frequency but not much else Helped By: Not thinking about it, hot bath, red wine, light exercise, Bowen technique seems to help, getting on with my life Worsened By: catastrophic thinking, worrying things will get worse, feeling depressed, reading websites too often! Work! Sitting in work all day isn't good!! Current Progress : Since 1st Sept 08, no pain!!! :)
No Bill has only been doing this seven years. Bill learns you how to self treat, but really its best for a physio to do it even though ££££££ !
I have Bill's mob. number and he will guide me in on the phone if I struggle .
Hope I dont flare up again now like a did after the first treatment for about 6 days !

Some people feel better after first internal work but for me and others it can cause a bit of a flare, you have to expect pain at first due to messing with tightened sore muscles.
The pain was not to bad — manageable with the odd solpadol now and again — but never bothered me as I knew it was due to the physio as I felt pretty good before going
Also my news is not great, just educational, as I now know my problem. It will only be great when I have no news at all. Make sure you keep us updated after seeing Bill, as even though we all have CPPS, we all are so different as well
The Battler has his last trigger point down to 50%. — another of Bill's patients (I wonder if he sorted yet, not posted for a while ).
I will never give in on this and will go to Stanford one day if I don't recover through Bill
