adductor magnus referral to pelvis
Anyone have any issues with their Adductor Magnus muscle referring pain into the pelvic area? This is a big muscle in the hamstring area that runs on the inner back part of the leg up to the sit bones. TrPs around the attachment area can refer pain. I've had one referral from that muscle into the pelvis, but haven't been able to replicate it since.

Re: adductor magnus referral to pelvis
I had one incident when I was working out that muscle in the gym. I always go very light and do it just for blood flow really. One day I accidently did more normal weight and I was sore the next day. It caused one of the biggest flare ups for about 2 days followed by about a week of record low pain. I am still unsure what to make of it, but I have trigger points in the area and I like to massage them.
Age: 26 | Onset Age: 20 | Symptoms: Used to be pain around the base of the penis, now I have golf ball in rectum feeling that can be very painful. | Helped By: kegal exercise/biofeedback (fixed ejaculation pain), antiinflamatory drugs, warm baths (intermediate term relief), hamstring stretching (very short term relief), the biggest being stress management | Worsened By: Stress, Standing for long periods, ejaculating used to make it worse, but not anymore

Re: adductor magnus referral to pelvis
This is where 90% of my pain comes from (or feels like it). I don't know how to fix it other than stretch the hell out of it. I'm getting better, it's just taking some time. I'm about a 4/10 as opposed to the 7/10 a year ago. Running/exercising causes this to flare up for me, but I keep trying to work through it by stretching.
Age:30 | Onset Age: 29 | Symptoms: Started with burning in the urethra. Thought it was an infection. Symptoms have spread and now shoot around. | Symptoms: Golf ball pain, burning around anus, scrotum pain, testicle pain. Pain eliminated by vacation but soon comes back as stress continues. | Helped By: Not sitting down too much, reducing stress (trying to), hot baths and relaxing. Pain was originally somewhere between 5 and 8 but is now calming down to about 3-5.

Re: adductor magnus referral to pelvis
Do some external trigger point release. This combined with stretching should help.
