has anyone had the greenlight prostate laser surgery? my URO is recommending it and I would like to hear from guys who have had it done- how successful, side effects, etc.

GreenLight Laser Prostate Surgery
Age: 45 | Onset Age: 39 | Symptoms: Chronic Prostatitis...Right groin/testicle inflammation off and on; have been diagnosed with enlarged prostate 33.6cc and incomplete voiding (100 ml in bladder after urination); weak stream; some IBS/constipation; BM's seem to cause abdominal spasms and cause onset of urgency/frequency of urination; Insomnia due to feelings of urgency. | Helped By: Sometimes hot Baths, Xanax, Stanford exercises/relaxation | Worsened By: Spicy food, stress

Do you have BPH? I wouldn't do it for CPPS.

My urologist recommended the same thing. I do not have BPH. I think my CPPS, prostatitis,IC, or whatever it is is due to benzo withdrawal . I got it about a month after I got off a slow taper of benzos. And have had it for about a year now with many other symptoms. Has the laser surgery worked for anyone?
