"Golfball sensation"=uncomfortable erections &

Post by rysocal »

I can't get rid of this "golfball sensation". I have read the many posts about this being trigger points in the pelvic floor but mine seem different. I have been seeing a physical therapist once a week for internal/external trigger point therapy for the past three months. Also stretch 1-2 times daily with pirifromis stretches feeling the best. She told me I consistently have inflamation (not really trigger points) in the same places "the junction where the piriformis and obturator internis meet and sometimes the levator ani is tight" It more feels like a cushion on each side at that junction when I sit than one golfball. And when I get an erection , the pelvic floor muscles get tight (normal for the pelvic floor muscles to tighten up somewhat during an erection right?) squeezing the inflamed muscle/tissue/nerves, not comfortable! Sitting also aggervates the area!I can't get rid of this inflamation! , I dont know what else to do?Do trigger points in the pelvic floor tend to move around or are they consistant? I have had this for almost two years. When I was seeing a physical therapist last year it did feel like trigger points in the pelvic floor. Similar to the ones you get in your back and shoulders but now it feels only like inflamation. Thanks for any insight.

None of that will work unless you also learn carefully how to consciously relax your pelvic floor. I also found diet important (gluten) but I am in the minority.
Good News! The great ProstaQ is BACK at last! You must try it.
