I have many members mention testicular pain as one of the symptoms. For the past three months , I only had rectal pain and was diagnosed with levator ani syndrome. Now the pain has moved to the testicle and groin area and is severe enough to make me immobile.
MRI does not show anything. Urologist also did not find anything.
Am on Lyrica and Elavil now. Has anyone else gone through similar experience
The next thing on the pain management doc is nerve block (not sure which nerve though)

Yes this pain was very bad when I first got CPPS. It got better in time as I calmed down and made changes as well as practicing a version of the Stanford/Wise-Anderson Protocol

Check out your obliques for trigger points. TP's in these muscles are notorious for refering pain to the testicles depite negative test results. I had severe testicular pain on the left which was re-created by an oblique trigger point which has resolved completely following treatment.

Age:39. Age at onset:31. Symptoms prior to treatment: Golf ball in rectum, severe urinary frequency (2-3x/hr; 5-10x/night); weak stream; painful ejaculation; coccygeal pain; tip of penis pain; general pelvic pain on left; testicular pain; supra-pubic pain. Current | Symptoms: Urinary frequency 1x every 2-3 hrs and 1-2 x a night; mild pelvic pain on left hand side (all symptoms still improving!)
Helped by: Trigger point release; avoiding exercise; pelvic floor relaxation; Neurontin decreased bladder sensitivity somewhat. Worsened by: Exercise; frequent ejaculation; ibuprofen irritates bladder. Made no difference: Diet; biofeedback; quercetin; Steroid anti-inflammatories; Elavil.
****UPDATE*** I am now able to sit again at work all day, and can perform moderate aerobic exersise again for the first time in 8 years!!!

I was going to say the same myself! I have been working on TPs on my obliques (both sides) for 2 weeks now and seen great results. Until I really worked on these areas I didn't realize how much pain there was there. Now they have come to the surface it feels like I have 2 bullet holes just above my pelvic bone - sounds horrid I know but it will pass!Check out your obliques for trigger points.
