Montmorency cherries?

Post by scotsman »

Read about this in the paper this morning - seems the Scottish Rugby team and UK Judo team have started to take Montmorency cherrie concentrate for muscle recovery.

See here for general info.

See here for research links.

See here for muscle recovery.

Sales site I know, but I was wondering if anyone has tried any?

Richard.

I can't tolerate most berries, but I can believe that these fruits have marvellous health properties. Cherries contain anthocyanins, which is the red pigment in berries. Cherry anthocyanins have been shown to reduce pain and inflammation. Science is only beginning to unlock all the natural wonders of foods like this. Just look at quercetin!

It certainly can't hurt to try this, but I would advise eating the real thing and bypassing the commercial products.

Good News! The great ProstaQ is BACK at last! You must try it.
