I posted earlier about my urethral symptoms. I was having burning mostly after urinations, post void dribbling, and a very small amount of clear discharge in the morning only. It seemed that my symptoms got better after taking antibiotics, but returned after intercouse with my wife. The opinions I got here were that my symptoms were due to urethritis (probably an STD since my symptoms got worse again after intercourse)
I saw my GP, and I have since taken the following:
1.Suprax-400mg single dose x 3 different doses
2.Zithromax 1gram two different times
3.Flagyl 2g single dose
4.Medrol dose pack
5.Doxy 100mg twice a day for 2 weeks
I explained to my GP that I had no reason to suspect any STDs as I am married with no new sexual partners. But I was willing to take antibiotics just to take away that factor for the cause of my symptoms. I finished the above meds (which should cover any type of infectious urethritis and then some). My syptoms did improve, and I think the Medrol helped the most. My wife and I have only had protected intercouse with condoms about twice since before beginning the above. It seems that I have a flare after intercourse or masturbation, and then it gradually gets better until I ejaculate again. Sorry for the long post, but here are my questions if anyone can help.
1. Does anyone else have the clear, kind of sticky discharge only in the morning (or anytime of day)?
2. Is that seminal fluid?
3. Is it common for the symptoms to worsen after ejaculation, and then gradually improve?
4. I still don't have any other symptoms other than urethral. Mostly burning after urination, extreme sensitivity at the end of my penis, and the most annoying, having to go back to the bathroom 3-5min after urinating to shake out a few extra drops that I feel near the tip of my penis. Can CP cause urethral symptoms only?
Sorry for the long post, and thanks for the help. Any feedback is helpful. Knowing I can ask questions to those with a similar problem helps me as much as anything.

My symptoms were/are somewhat similar to yours in many ways. I have not had the discharge, nor were my symptoms brought on by ejaculation. Instead, I had extreme sensitivity/discomfort in the tip of my penis after urination, and also the problem with dribbling/dripping. Generally for up to an hour after urination I'd have the discomfort, and then it would slowly fade away until the next time.
At this point the sensitivity issue has been cleared up for several months, though I still have a problem with post-void dribbling of a few drops (though that amount seems to be VERY SLOWLY diminishing).
I'm taking any accredited quercetin product at present; I'm not sure whether it has helped or not. When I was having the discomfort, I found that one thing that really helped me was to wear an athletic cup. Obviously it's not ideally comfortabe, but for me I was finding that the contact between my penis and my clothing only added to the sensitivity/discomfort. Wearing the cup prevented that, and seemed to help quite a bit!
Best of luck to you!

Seems like you covered the infection theory with antibiotics....Question is have you asked your wife to be tested so your not passing back and forth?
Once you are both cleared of infection chances are you never had an infection and you have text book classic CP/CPPS.

I encourage anxiety prone UCPPS people to consider L-Theanine
Age, 44 onset age 37 Feb 2006 Freq. need to urinate. Sensation of having to urinate soon after going. Perineum discomfort/burning/tightness, pubic area discomfort @ times, poor urine stream, post urine dripping/spray. All symptoms have improved with my protocol. At the worst I give it a 1 to 2 on irritation and discomfort and frequency. Helps: Elavil 5mg for anxiety and mast cell protection, (will only take it as needed) self internal PT as needed, stretching, walking, stairmaster cardio workout and light weights, reducing stress, moment to moment relaxation, deep breathing relaxation and using a Theracane. Makes worse: sitting for long periods, stress, over focusing on it. Currently 95%-98% recovered. Stay positive, relaxed and control your anxiety.

Just read up on all the available protocols to help. No magic bullet, it takes a lot of time and work to get better. If you set your mind to it you will recover.

You seem to be ejaculating very infrequently. If that is the case, dripping of prostatic fluids can occur.
Good News! The great ProstaQ is BACK at last! You must try it.

Flare-ups after ejaculation are very common. Also, it is possible to have primarily urethral symptoms.
By the way, if you have urethral symptoms, you should be careful about all the shaking you're doing. You could further irritate things that way.
