It's been a while since I last posted, during this time I've been looking into food intolerances and been keeping up my internal/external stretching.
While the stretching helps it doesn't feel like it's the root of my problems.
While looking at intolerances two strikes me the most and those are sugar and gluten.
I know I'm sensitive to sugar since I crave it and it makes me feel terrible, especially alcohol.
The gluten theory is based on my pelvic issues (bladder pain, ed, pe, weak stream etc), bloated stomach, joint pain, brain fog, diarrhoea/constipation, depression, acid reflux, acne and the worst of all chronic fatigue.
I've also looked into the possibility of candida in which the symptoms are very similar to gluten intolerance.
I tried going gluten/lactose/sugar free for a couple of months and it cleared up many of my stomach/ibs issues but it didn't change my chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome much at all.
I think everyone who suffers from both ibs and chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome should give food allergy a serious thought and maybe we all here can encourage each other to keep on going. It's no walk in the park and I've always fallen off the wagon so far that's why I think this might be a good idea.
I also think people who try it maybe doesn't give it enough time, it takes up to six months to heal they say.
One other thing I've noticed is that heat rather than cold makes my symptoms worse, I often get more pain after a warm shower. Anyone else who feels the same way?

I also have a problem with heat and our 30C + weather has been a killer lately I feel like lopping my testicles off ( I wouldn't do that but the thought plagues me ). Heat use to be my saviour as I have said before I have a couple degenerated disk the L4-5, L5-S many more years than me CPPS/CP, at least one of the disks bulges, heat relaxes the muscles and stretching relieves the pressure but only when the muscles are relaxed. What makes us different that we are affected by heat? If the problem is muscular then heat should help not hurt.
Does any one have a theory for us?

I was wondering if there are more people than just Richie and Webslave who has gotten better when off gluten or other foods?
Also has anyone tried a diet for candida and gotten better?

I tried an anti-candida diet for literally years, including taking Diflucan (fluconazole) every day for months and months. No result.
Good News! The great ProstaQ is BACK at last! You must try it.
