How often should I be treating my TPs? Davies book says 3-6 treatments per day, but many people here seem to treat them only a couple of times per week? What's the prevailing notion. And yes, when I treat them often, my symptoms seem better, but I get a real all over ache and burning like there's lots of lactic acid production or something.

3-6 times a day?!? I guess if I only had a couple of small points to work on I could manage that, but I still think that's a bit much. I've just been doing this for about a month now, but I go at it once a day, usually 6 days a week. I spend about an hour to an hour and a half. I start with around my hips, move on to my abdominals, and then top it off with a little bit of internal stuff, and do my stretches in between each area.
I guess it all depends on your situation and condition, but that's how I'm tackling it.

I treat mine once a day - though in the early days it was only a couple times a week at most (some of the areas needs a couple days rest to heal).
