When I sit

Post by Rufus »

When I sit I feel like the top of my balls have weights on them.

I've been going to PT and for a while I felt pretty good.
My on and off burning rectum has subsided and the nut pain has been real low.

I know that there are ups and downs with PT but yesterday put me back a couple of steps as my mind hasn't been focused on my nut pain until today with yesterday being my 3rd session.

It's hard to remain faithful that this will work.
Not sure if I'm just getting better with time or if the PT is really doing something.

I guess only time will tell but all in all this shit sucks.

God I just want things to go back the way they were....
Age:37 | Onset Age: 35 | Symptoms: pain in testicles that comes and goes that also switches sides-trying to find a pattern as to "why" this happens/Rectal Burn at the 6 O'clock position at my anus which tends to flare around the periphery of my anus typically after defication but no perineum pain-no "golf ball" pain. Pain in testicles worsens as I sit but not always...Pain is not always present but depresses me. Pain used to be at a very high level but has subsided in time to a low level but has not gone away. Pain used to flare after sex but not as much as before although it still like playing russian roulette./
/Lack of SleepHelped By: I haven't found anything that has helped to my knowledge. Tried many many sessions of PT, accupuncture and chiropractic care but still have not found steady relief that takes me back to a pre CPPS state.

Stick with it - you're only on your third session and you say yourself that you've seen improvements.

This isn't a quick fix and there must be hundreds of posts on this forum from other sufferers who continuously post about the 2 steps back and 3 steps forward progress. But they virtually ALL make progress. Sounds like you are too.

Richard.

I've been in PT twice a week regularly for months, and yesterday was the first session that didn't leave me in more pain. My pattern is that it hurts worse (but in subtly different ways) the 24 hours after PT, and then a little less (if I'm lucky) for 3 days.

I've cut my pain meds in half over the last two weeks, and my PT says she's getting to the end of the trigger points.

I finally truly think there is hope!
I am not a doctor too!
Age 64, sudden onset 5/06 during bout of flu, colitis, lung and liver problems. Pain in penis, then moved to rectum. No urinary symptoms. Use Lyrica, Elavil, paxil, Xanax, morphine, vicodin, relaxation, pads for sitting, 100+ PT sessions. Sensitive to gluten, milk protein, soy. I have CFS, anxiety, GERD, Barrett's, colitis, kidney stones, one of which referred pain to penis.
