Lots of posts on ED but this is new
ED was my first symptom. I tend to flex my thighs, calves and buttocks when I have sex or masturbate. And of course pelvis. The first time I tried to have sex and it only got half hard I panicked and began jerking it everyday thinking I was just out of practice. My question is does an inflamed prostate mess with erections, lack of blood flow, or just anxiety about it or all of the above. I have found that I still can perform great when I am comfortable with my woman I am with. One night stands I need a viagra

the fact that you can perform with a certain partner and not others makes me strongly think that it is for the most part mediated by your mental state. That isn't to say it is not also physical- for sure your mental state (anxious) can alter your physical state--can make you tense up, whatever. But what it does mean, in my unprofessional opinion, it isn't related to some external physical condition like a mechanical problem with blood flow or that your prostate is inflamed. I would concentrate on developing healthy sexual habits (not tensing, etc) and also look into psychotherapy to discuss what underlying anxiety problems may be causing this. It sounds as if you are in a relationship and are having sex on the side with someone(s) else, it is generally accepted in psychology that anxiety/guilt/a desire not to get caught can lead to both ED and premature ejaculation.
Age:22 | Onset Age:16.5 | Symptoms: Pain with extended sitting, Pain shortly folllowing urination, mostly above pubic bone, Pain after defecation mostly around external sphincter, Pain after ejaculation mostly in Urethra | Helped By: Progressive and Moment to Moment Relaxation, Stretching, Bed Rest (laying down and relaxing muscles), Hot Baths, Hot Showers, | Worsened By: Alcohol (variably), Ejaculation, Urination, Defecation, Stress, Extended Sitting, Sleeping in the wrong position, tensing my muscles while writing or doing anything else stressful/intense, Progress: 65%, basically only dealing with post-ejaculatory pain, onset after about an hour, peaks for 3-6 hours and then remains sore for a day.

I am not in a relationship and getting some on the side but when I was in a relationship I had no erection problems. Now that she dumped me and I am having one night stands I am having some ED. I also consume like twenty drinks when this happens. THanks for your reply. I think mental and anxiety problems are a big issue.

alcohol, a central nervous system depressant, can also easily cause ED

Dude... that's known as Brewer's Droop. It's quite normal when you've drunk that much.VBBronco wrote:I am not in a relationship and getting some on the side but when I was in a relationship I had no erection problems.
