Where to find ergonomic chair?

Post by Scott Miller »

Webmaster,

Under Causes/Excessive Sitting - there is a picture of a chair that puts the pressure on the knees instead of the pelvis. However, there is no link to buy the chair.

What website can I buy this chair?

I have a couple of good places to buy one, just trying to see which is best. More later ....

I have something similar lurking in my office but stopped using it pre-CPPS because it creased my trousers ( ). Will give it another bash and damn the ironing!

what about sitting on one of those big swedish rubber exercise balls? Apparently they are suppost to force you into proper posture and take some stress out of your lower regions.

maybe that would work, and they're only $20 or so.

I have something similar to that chair but don't use it didn't work for me. Wish someone would invent a chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome chair. I have to use a computer so much I am considering finding someone to build me a office desk and chair system to my specs. The world is not designed for chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome sufferers to sit down unfortunately.

Standing up works fine for me. I get tired in my knees and feet though.
A combo with standing and sitting every day is probably the best solution.

Webmaster,

I look forward to your other option. I have been standing at work since January. The pain in my feet and fatique when overtime is needed is starting to become an issue.

I hope your option is cost effective.
