Question about vitamin B

Post by GARYS »

I see a lot of people take vitamin B or a b complex, anyway the other night I couldnt sleep and cought an infomercial about a vitamin B complex and they were saying that usually when taken in pill form only a small percentage of it actually gets into your system. They were trying to sell one that dissolves under your tounge and suposedly your body absorbs like 80% verses like 20%. Has anyone seen this, and could there be any truth to it? They of course made it sound great with all its benefits but I was wondereing if I'm doing just as good with what I have off the shelf of walgreens or GNC.

B vitamins are usually fairly easy to absorb. That looks like a sales gimmick to me, Gary!
Good News! The great ProstaQ is BACK at last! You must try it.

I took for 6 months B-complex and that did not make the slightest difference.
If you have a balanced diet, you really do not need those supplements. It is a huge industry ($25B/year) and there are many crooks in that business.

Vit B

Post by Richie »

Vitamin B was noticeably deficient in patients with IC in an article I read, particularly B 12. I cannot remember the details but it is one peice involved in the healing process. For me, over a long period of time, it helped.
