1. After I've had an erection (and not masturbated) I feel a sligt increase in pain. Is it possible that the increase in blood flow affects the inflammation?

2. A high intake of proteins (whey powder for example) increases the amount of urine acid (perhaps its called uric acid?) in the urine. Could this cause IC?

3. Can IC cause CP? The bladder and the prostate are very close and perhaps a dysfunctional epithelium could cause an inflammation in the prostate aswell?

Many think that IC and CP can be the same thing. It just happens that we are stuck with a prostate and the ladies are not!

1. Probably not. More likely nerve activity.
2. No.
3. CP and IC are now thought by many to be the same or similar disorders. They do not "cause" each other.

Good luck. You certainly are trying some of the best medications. Please report back on your progress. Remember it might take a few months to see real improvement. I read recently that even alpha-blockers take a while to work fully.
