Does anyone have exercises, except for kegels, that are designed to tire and work the pelvic muscles. I notice that walking helps me, and after I orgasm during sex, 90% of the time, my muscles relax for some time. Course orgasm causes irritation, but you take the good with the bad I guess.
So I'm looking for exercises that I may be able to perform to tire those muscles into relaxation.
PS: Spoke to Dr. Wise yesterday. Very nice man. He asked me a ton of questions and said I'm a candidate and he invited me to attend Stanford. I think my soon to be wife and I are going to go in October. She is 100% supportive of me going as she knows how much I want to return to my physical activities 100%. Course I'm a realist and realize I may never be able to do that 100%, but if I can get rid of all my irritation and feeling of not normal that will be good for me.

Not sure if tiring the muscles is a good idea. The muscles are already overused. I know many men find squats and pressing up weights with their legs actually causes a flare-up.
Personally, I highly recommend a hour's walk with a significant other every evening.

Good News! The great ProstaQ is BACK at last! You must try it.

I guess you are right. Just seems like since walking and orgasm relax the muscles I thought it was a component of tiring them. Maybe its more about stretching them.
I usually get up in the early morning and walk around the neighborhood for about a half hour before work. Then I walk in the evening with my fiance.
I think I am going to take up swimming as the gym I used to go to when I was lifting has a pool. Anyone know if swimming is good?
Thanks,
SS

Hi Everyone,
I joined a little while back and have since been going through the site which has helped me greatly. After reading A HEADACHE IN THE PELVIS, the best book I've found on exercising not only relating to our condition/s, but well-being in general is this one:

Another good source for execises is Pelvic Power by Franklin:

Cheers

Thank you for the specific recommendation of a rather obscure book. I have had excellent results from yoga and stretching.
I had suffered from this condition for two decades so I think you are one of the few persons who can relate to what it is like to endure these symptoms for such a grinding long time.
Be well,
Robert
