Post ejaculation discomfort
The thing that I know of that definitely brings my symptoms out the most is after I ejaculate.. I get real uncomfortable in the pelvis area, I feel like I have to go real bad, and I don't.. Once I do go and urinate, (not the little drops that come out the first few times I try), it seems to get a little better.. I try to relax my pelvis as much as possible upon ejaculating, but is there anything else I can do to help this?
Age 21.. | Symptoms: Extreme discomfort in bladder, and lower abdomen.. To the point that I can't sit still, and sleep, can't do anything.. The only that will help is getting into the bath... Urinary frequency, Urinary hesitancy, sometimes taking a few minutes to get just a little bit out.. Sometimes lower back pain when I lay down at night.. Never have the golf ball feeling everybody talks about, and never have a problem sitting down.. Helps: Hot baths, Xanax (but makes me extremely tired), stretching (it seems like only sometimes), pain killers (ex: Percocet, but if I take them, they end up making me worse the next days following, probably due to the urinary retention they cause).. Makes worse: Stress is the main main thing, caffeine and spicy foods too, but not really a whole whole lot.. only a moderate amount..

this is my main symptom as well, I have found a few things to help:
Stretching immiedatly afterwards- squats, and splits
Taking a hot shower or hot bath
laying down completely flat and deep breathing w/ progressive relaxation

Age:22 | Onset Age:16.5 | Symptoms: Pain with extended sitting, Pain shortly folllowing urination, mostly above pubic bone, Pain after defecation mostly around external sphincter, Pain after ejaculation mostly in Urethra | Helped By: Progressive and Moment to Moment Relaxation, Stretching, Bed Rest (laying down and relaxing muscles), Hot Baths, Hot Showers, | Worsened By: Alcohol (variably), Ejaculation, Urination, Defecation, Stress, Extended Sitting, Sleeping in the wrong position, tensing my muscles while writing or doing anything else stressful/intense, Progress: 65%, basically only dealing with post-ejaculatory pain, onset after about an hour, peaks for 3-6 hours and then remains sore for a day.

I was just going to post about this. During the last few days I was feeling a little better. I ejaculated today and it was a bit watery and then the sitting pain got a lot worse. Is there a reason behind this?
I'm trying to see If the cause of this flare up is due to stress/too much sitting and exhaustion or If I need an antibiotic.

I always have increased sitting pain after ejaculation- quite simply ejaculation causes the contraction of many of the muscles of pelvic floor with close to 10 times the force required for defecation (this figure was quoted to me by a PT well versed in SP), so if your muscles are tight, you have trigger points, or the nerves there are hyper-active and inflamed you are bound to experience some sort of pain afterwards. Specifically, the pudendal nerves spool through the base of your perinuem at the joint in your groin and it is very easy to put pressure on them while sitting, which can cause pain. If you are worried about an infection or some sort of mechanical problem you could ask your doctor, but my non-professional but personally experienced opinion is that this is a common problem with chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome (my worst) and that fact that your pain is made worse right after ejaculation seems to point to the fact that it is chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome and mediated by muscle tension and not some sort of infection.
My advice, if you want to investigate the muscle tensions problem is to see if your sitting pain is decreased after you take a hot bath or do squat stretches,if it is, it is likely you are dealing with muscle tension. And if you are there are a number of ways you can make it better, search this forum for ejaculation and you will find many of them including:
-relaxing instead of tensing during orgasm
-stretching
-decreasing frequency of ejaculation
-investigating the possibility of trigger points that refer pain to the areas in which you suffer discomfort after ejacualation
-hot baths or showers
-laying down after ejaculation combined with deep breathing and relaxation

I keep hearing about these trigger points, I guess I can search on that. What does watery ejac mean? Yellow is infection or inflammation I think. I've had that too recently.lookouth wrote: -investigating the possibility of trigger points that refer pain to the areas in which you suffer discomfort after ejacualation

You should do a search on TP's and invest in AHIP by Wise if you are interested in the muscle-tension approach (which is the right approach for many of us here). I think as with color, consistency of your semen can easily be totally unrelated to any health problems it varies from person to person and can change throughout someones lifetime, on a basic biological level it just indicates the proportion of mucus being produced by your bulbourethra gland to that being produced by your seminal vesicles. To be sure some changes in semen can sometimes indicated infection or other problems and if you are worried about this you should consult your doctor to do a culture- you are obviously worried about this possibility and if only to put your mind at ease (so you can focus on investigating other causes) you should have this checked out, IMHO.
