Hi
When I stretch I try to have a bath before hand to make sure my muscles are warm. I then stretch but looking on athletics type forums it seems that perhaps I should then apply cold to cool the recently stretched muscles. does anyone know if this would be beneficial. Does cold reduce inflamation as I have noticed that when my muscles are hurting a lot they actually feel warmer so I presume the heat is a by-product of the inflamation and cooling this could help?
thanks
